provides children from 4-5 and 6-17 with experiences in comedy, creative dramatics and musical theatre. Programs are supervised by state certified teachers with experience in children's theatre.
ACT operates year-round from its air-conditioned Parsippany Theatre, which seats 70, and is a non-profit, tax-exempt arts organization established in 1983. The facility is equipped with a stage, keyboard, curtain, stage and special effects lights, backstage area, microphones and amplification system. Day camp programs in performing arts are offered in Bergen, Hunterdon, Middlesex, Morris, Ocean, Somerset and Sussex Counties during July and August.
Since its inception, All Children's Theatre has put on over 380 productions with nearly 8,300 children from approximately 285 communities in 11 counties in Northern and Central New Jersey as well as from communities in New York and Pennsylvania. It is currently self-supporting, but donations are always welcomed. ACT participants have performed in over 210 locations in New York and New Jersey including the following locations:
